Is SAFE free?
Yes. Every feature — tickets, reports, cases, moderation, audit logs, incidents, staff tools and appeals — is completely free on every server. Premium is optional and only unlocks cosmetic branding (custom banners, colours and footers).
How do I add SAFE to my server?
Click any Add to Server button on this site, pick your server, and approve the permissions. You need the Manage Server permission on that server to add a bot.
How do I configure it?
Run /setup in your server. You'll get a private panel with a dropdown to configure every module. You need Discord's Administrator permission, or a SAFE rank with the Configure Bot permission.
The slash commands aren't showing up — what do I do?
Discord can take up to an hour to register a bot's commands the first time. Wait a bit and fully refresh Discord (Ctrl/Cmd+R). Also make sure SAFE was invited with the applications.commands scope — re-adding it with the button here guarantees that.
How do staff ranks and permissions work?
Instead of one staff role, you create ranks in /setup → Staff Ranks that map a role to a set of permissions (Ban, Kick, Timeout, Manage Tickets, and so on). A member gets the combined permissions of every rank-role they have. Server admins always have everything.
Why can't SAFE ban or kick someone?
Discord won't let a bot action a member whose highest role is above the bot's. Drag SAFE's role above the roles of the members it needs to moderate, and make sure it has the Ban / Kick / Moderate Members permissions.
How do appeals work?
When a member is banned, timed out or warned, SAFE sends them a DM with an Appeal button. They answer your custom questions, and the appeal appears in your appeal channel with Approve / Deny buttons. You can enable automatic unban when a ban appeal is approved.
How do I get premium?
Premium is activated with a one-time key. Once you have a key, run /redeem in your server (or use /setup → Premium). Keys stack — redeeming again extends your time. Check status anytime with /premium.
Can I use SAFE on more than one server?
Yes. SAFE is fully multi-server — each server has its own independent configuration, ranks, channels, tickets and cases. Set each one up with its own /setup.
What data does SAFE store?
Only what's needed to run the features: your server's settings, open tickets, moderation cases, reports, incidents and appeals. Ticket transcripts are generated when a ticket closes and sent to your log channel.
Does removing SAFE delete my settings?
Kicking the bot stops it from acting in your server, but your saved configuration stays so nothing is lost if you re-add it later. Want a clean slate? Just reconfigure from scratch with /setup.
