Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By adding the SAFE Discord bot ("SAFE", "the Bot", "we", "us") to a server, or by using the Bot or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

2. The service

SAFE provides moderation and safety tools for Discord servers, including tickets, message reports, moderation cases, custom staff ranks, audit logs, incident management, staff tools, and appeals. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

3. Eligibility & responsibility

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement and comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you add SAFE to a server, you are responsible for how it is configured and used there.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Bot to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any person;
• Use the Bot for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Discord's policies;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Bot or its systems;
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Bot or premium keys without our permission.

5. Premium & keys

Certain cosmetic features (custom banners, colours, and branding) are unlocked with a one-time premium key, activated with /redeem. All functional features remain free. Unless required by law, premium activations are non-refundable. We may revoke any key that was obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these Terms.

6. Availability

The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You use the Bot at your own risk. SAFE is a tool to assist moderation and is not a substitute for your own judgment or legal obligations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAFE and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Bot.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Bot — including blacklisting a server or user — at our discretion, particularly for violations of these Terms or Discord's policies. You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your server.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United States, Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
